Comme chaque année, l'Académie des Arts et Sciences intéractives a révélé sa liste des nominés concernant les jeux vidéos de l'année 2006. Sur 30 catégories possibles, Zelda : Twilight Princess (Nintendo / Wii) est nominé six fois.

Evénement reconnu comme important dans le monde des jeux vidéos, l'AIAS (Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences) a nominé Zelda : Twilight Princess sur Nintendo Wii dans 6 catégories, à savoir :

1/ Jeu de l'année.
2/ Jeu console de l'année.
3/ Accomplissement de grande qualité concernant le développement de l'histoire et des personnages.
4/ Accomplissement de grande qualité concernant la jouabilité.

Nintendo en général connait une très bonne année grâce notamment à Zelda : Twilight Princess et à la Wii. Mais le grand vainqueur des nominations reste Gears of Wars qui s'octroie dix nominations.
